The Happinet Group got its start in 1969 as a wholesale distributor of products for Bandai Co., Ltd. Ever since merging with two other Bandai wholesalers in 1991 and changing our name to Happinet Corporation, we have been implementing strategies to cope with changing distribution systems and the market transformations brought about by Japan’s falling birthrate and greater diversity in entertainment modes.
We have held a firm belief that we can attain to our true worth as an intermediary distributor only by establishing an optimal distribution system combining marketing, logistics, and information systems . For nearly 15 years, we have focused our energies on developing functions to build our distribution systems.
The Happinet Group has also moved beyond toys, expanding the scope of its business to encompass a broad range of entertainment products including amusements, video games, video software and—most recently—music software and e-commerce.
Through its stimulating entertainment businesses, the Happinet Group seeks to contribute to society by fulfilling peoples’ spirits and creating dream-filled tomorrows. To this end, we at Happinet are united in our commitment to re-inventing ourselves as we pioneer new businesses. |
